How It Works

The primary active ingredient is a sugar derivative called DHA which when is sprayed on the top layers of your skin reacts with the amino acid, this creating a colour similar to a UV sun tan. As your skin sheds the tan fades naturally between 5-7 days after application.

Before applying self tanning mousse

Exfoliate your body 24 hours prior to use

Avoid heavy moisturising shower gels

Immediately prior to application, moisturise any dry areas including elbows, knees, ankles and feet

Wax/Shave at least 24 Hours before your applying (Dotting in pores may appear otherwise)

Paint nails and toenails, especially if they are acrylics or similar

For best results, apply using applicator Mitt in long sweeping motions, starting at the ankles and working your way up, for your back, turn the mitt back to front and start applying in the same way. Ensure all areas are covered before lightly gliding any excess tan from the Mitt over your hands and feet.

Wait until touch dry before getting dressed.

Allow 4-8 hours before showering to reveal your developed tan.

To prolong and maintain your tan, moisturise daily, exfoliate regularly and reapply as desired

After Care

Pat dry with towel. Do Not Rub

Avoid water on skin whilst tan is developing, Especially rain

Avoid heavy exercise or any perspiration during development

Use a non-oil based moisturiser after tan

Ensure all tan is exfoliated off before next application

Possible Contra-Indications

Diabetics can have a tan as long as they are following their recommended treatments and have no open cuts.

First trimester of pregnancy, HRT & IVF can interfere with the result of the tan.

This may also be applicable during menstrual cycle.

Acne can look darker after a tan.

Eczema, psoriasis, abrasions, cuts, skin diseases and disorders can interfere with the result of the tan.

If you are unsure if any of the above apply or if you have sensitive skin a patch test is recommended at least 24hrs before application.
