Hair-Boutique General Terms & Conditions

Please can I politely ask you to take a moment to read through the terms & conditions and cancellation policy


  • Event/Special occasion Hair/Makeup require a 50% non-refundable booking fee to secure your date and service via bank transfer.

  • The booking and date is only reserved and confirmed once the non refundable booking fee has been paid.

  • The 50% non-refundable booking fee paid by the client is taken off the total price and the remaining balance is to be paid in full by the client on the day of the event.

  • A £50 surcharge will be added for any bookings that take place on a Sunday or Bank Holiday. 

  • Hair Boutique must be informed at the time of booking of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products, this includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions I may need to be aware of, including pregnancy.

  • Hair Boutique cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any known condition.

  • Hair Boutique reserves the right to refuse service to the client for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.

  • Gowning Procedure: I do not take responsibility for any items of clothing damaged during the technical or colouring process. I advise clients to remove all valuable or high necked items of clothing before the service commences.


Allergy Alert Test/Questionnaire:

  • All clients are required to follow the allergy testing procedure, the Allergy Alert Test should be carried out if you are having any colouration including highlights applied to the hair on your head or any other area of your body, 48hrs prior to any colour service. The Allergy Alert Questionnaire is included with every colour consultation before every colour service. If there is no reaction to the Allergy Alert Test during 48 hours, you can proceed with your colour service. If there is any redness, burning or itching, during or after 48 hours, rinse immediately. You should seek and follow medical advice and colour must not be applied. For further information and frequently asked questions please take a look at my Blog.  


  • I do not offer refunds for any completed services. However if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact me and I will try my utmost to resolve any problems.


Gift vouchers:

  • Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Cancellation policy terms also apply to gift vouchers - which will be voided should you fail to give the required notice. 

Refer a Friend (Online Store):

To qualify for your 10% discount OFF on your next purchase:

  • It must be your friends first order with Hair Boutique

  • They must add your name in the Add A Note Box  when placing their order.

  • Once your friend (s) have completed their order I will send you a promo code to enter when you shop.

Cancellation policy:- I have a 24 hour cancellation policy to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy-Covid

Possible Covid symptoms:- If you have to cancel due to displaying Covid symptoms and are unable to give 24hrs notice then you will not be charged. For safety reasons I will ask to see a copy of your negative test result prior to re-booking any future appointments.

Generally unwell:- If you generally feel unwell and are not displaying any of the Covid symptoms, I ask that you continue to respect our 24hour cancellation policy. This will enable us to offer your appointment time to someone on our waiting list.

The cancellation fee will be added onto the customers accounts and re-bookings will not be accepted until the outstanding fee is paid.

A 50% non-refundable deposit will apply to any future appointments made to those who do not follow this policy.

No show and missed appointments a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

 Emergencies at my discretion.

Cancellation policy excludes Weddings

I accept the following payment methods cash, Visa, MasterCard and debit cards.

 ***Update: If a client has recently travelled to any of the affected areas (as outlined on website) affected by the Coronavirus, or they’ve come into contact with anybody who has, they should let Daniela/ Hair-Boutique know immediately. On arrival of their appointment if it is apparent that anybody has an infectious disease which I have not been notified about, I reserve the right to cancel the whole appointment without penalty to myself to avoid the serious risk of cross-infection.***
